Ex-mistress causes ruckus outside flat

A 40-year-old woman, claiming to be the former mistress of a Singapore civil servant, caused a stir when she turned up at his house to demand a RM120,000 "separation fee", reported Sin Chew Daily.

The woman was believed to have climbed over the fence into her 57-year-old ex-boyfriend's apartment complex in Geylang, Singapore, at about 11pm on Monday.

She shouted from outside the apartment unit: "You come out! (You) Must settle this issue today. You slept with me for so many years, you have to pay. Give me S$50,000 (RM120,000) and I will leave immediately."

She was shouting and banging on the apartment door but left when two policemen, responding to a distress call from the man's wife, showed up 10 minutes later.

When asked, the wife admitted that the woman was her husband's ex-mistress, adding that she had been harassing them since July last year.
