Eating is a basic human activity.

Halal cert is a lot more than slaughtering animals islamic way. It also means paying fees to the mosques for halal cert, and hiring of exclusively muslim butchers and firing all non-muslim butchers.

Why should butchering animals be monopolized by muslims only? Why are we obliged to pay a fee to the mosque directly or indirectly each time we eat?
