My Malay brothers and sisters. You know I have always called on our Malay community to support the PAP.

We can no longer do this. Our strategic interest and relevance as a minority group now depends on us working and forging strategic links with our Chinese, Indian and Eurasian Singaporean brothers and sisters in the opposition.

Continuing to vote for the self-serving PAP will result in the same failed policies that have resulted in our current situation where they dare dictate to us on what we can wear, which table we should eat at and even when it is appropriate for us to utter "Alhamdulillah" and "Insyaallah".

I call on each and every of our Malay brothers and sisters to stop their support for the PAP .

I call on each and every of our Malay brothers and sisters to join our Chinese, Indian and Eurasian brothers and sisters in supporting and casting their votes for the SDP, SPP, NSP, RP and WP in this historic election on 7 May 2011.

Thats very true. That is Arabic and not Bahasa Melayu. I also wonder why the Malays love to associate themselves with Arabic. They fail to realise that the Arabs and all other fellow Muslims who embraced Islam a thousand years earlier then the Malays of this region, does not use Bahasa Melayu or follow the dress-code of the Malays. The reason is that they are proud of their own language. Why are our Malays lacking in this area?
