I once confronted a cyclist on a pedestrian walkway who not only almost banged into me but still insist I move aside and give way to him.
I refused to move aside as I was on the left and the cyclist told me arrogantly the govt encourage cycling so I should give way to him .
I stood my ground and told him I will call the police before he decided to scoot off.
This is the legacy of penangnite KBW and the PAP and I still see cyclist speeding on pedestrian walkways and even PMD's that are supposed to be illegal.
I cannot think of another country where cyclist are allowed to bully pedestrians on pedestrian walkways -no different from the vac treating the unvac like criminals in this animal farm like country.
