Geylang Bahru got nice hawker centre, one of the earliest KFCs in Singapore and a large NTUC. Used to have a cinema.
Kallang Bahru got a warehouse estate with a big pond, hosting many land and sea forwarders smuggling and undervalue cargo to Indonesia and Malaysia , flatted factories with several funeral and coffin business and isolated blocks of HDB that SOS's first love stayed in.
