To celebrate the occasion, Hediard Cafe-Restaurant is offering free meals complete with icecream and a drink for up to 2 kids below 12 years of age if they are accompanied by two adults spending a total of $60.
The kids will receive a Mini-Croq' Ferdinand meal. It comprises grilled bread with Parma, Gruyere cheese and Mornay sauce. They also be treated to a free scoop of icecream and a cordial drink.
Although parents have to spend up to $60 at this Parisien cafe cum boutique, it's still a good deal as Hediard is internationally known for its quality gourmet fare, from jams and biscuits to caviar and wines.
It offers specially selected teas and coffees as well as delicious candies like the fruit-puree jellies and chocolates. Oh, the fruit juices or rather "nectars" as they call them are heavenly thirst-quenchers. Addictive like the fruit sweets.
