Yet more proof that the scaremongering about much worse the UK variant is was all a load of absolute rubbish and also shows there is absolutely no need to wear a mask.
Lockdown was a total waste of time and isn't necessary.

Border workers were the first people in New Zealand to be vaccinated against Covid-19, in Auckland on February 20, 2021.
There is one new case of Covid-19 in managed isolation, a week after the most recent community outbreak was announced in Auckland.
The new case arrived in New Zealand from Singapore on February 16 and tested positive after their routine day 3 test.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed all close contacts associated with the Auckland family of three at the centre of the latest community outbreak had returned negative tests.
These include those linked to the school and travel group to New Plymouth.

The last cases detected in the community were on Friday, taking the total linked to the cluster involving a daughter, mother and father, to seven.
Auckland was put into alert level 3 for three days, with the rest of the country at alert level 2 after the cases were revealed. That was scaled back to alert level 2 on Thursday, with an announcement on whether the city can return to alert level 1 due on Monday.
A total of 125 close contacts, associated with all cases in the February cluster, were identified from contact tracing.
Three previously reported close contacts have been ruled out on further investigation and one infant is not required to be tested.
Of the remainder, 121 close contacts have returned negative test results.
