this is evaporative cooling, yes it does cool by passing air through waterfall exchanging heat to the water but will only do so much for so little. a more effective way is the aircon water bed where water is conditioned to low temp and travel through the bed to deliver, spot cooling, more direct and effective for bedrooms.

just sleep on the floor or a water bed,all ur body heat will flow to the floor or water bed which dissipates heat quickly due to the larger mass and surface area and conductive material.
