SIA will hold a 25.1 per cent stake in the combined Air India group.
The Singapore carrier is due to invest up to 50.2 billion rupees after the merger is completed.
This is on top of the money that had been invested in Vistara (SIA invested US$49 million in 2013), which is now merged with Air India.
Tata Group paid US$2.2 billion for Air India. SIA total investment will be US$661 million for 25.1 percent.
