She confessed in court today that she had collected US$220millions from a business which wanted to secure a lucrative government tender, and then arranged the Interior Minister to ensure this business got awarded the tender.
She further said she only took US$220million and she is very disappointed that her best friend took the other US$73million behind her back, she felt betrayed. She said it while she confessed that she was doing all these corruptions behind the back of her own husband!

(中央社記者蘇龍麒台北10日電)前總統陳水扁夫人吳淑珍今天前往台北地方法院為扁家四大案出庭。其中南港展覽館案，吳淑珍承認收了廠商錢，也請當時內政部長余政憲協助廠商得標，但她不敢給陳水扁知道。
台北地院就國務費、龍潭購地、南港展覽館、洗錢等扁家四大案傳訊吳淑珍。台北地檢署公訴檢察官林怡君論告犯罪事實，認定吳淑珍與扁家共將2074餘萬美元不法所得洗錢至海外。
南港展覽館案，吳淑珍辯稱，是友人蔡銘哲向她表示，當時力拓建設董事長郭銓慶想投標，郭銓慶希望能透過她請當時的內政部長余政憲幫忙開最有利標，至於有沒有拿什麼評審委員名單，她不記得了，後來郭銓慶給她美金220萬元，並不是起訴書所載的美金273.55萬元，她都已實話實說，希望法官能查明，
吳淑珍表示，南港展覽館案所收到的錢，因為怕被陳水扁知道，也都請對方直接匯到胞兄吳景茂的海外帳戶，自己也是事後才知道發生評委名單洩漏的事。吳淑珍承認自己在南港案中有收錢，「南港案及其衍生的洗錢部分，我認罪」。
關於檢方洗錢罪指控，審判長蔡守訓問吳淑珍，收錢匯往海外要如何答辯。吳淑珍說，她沒有把國務費匯出去，匯往海外的錢有些是她自己的錢。
吳淑珍在法庭內即當庭向社會道歉。她表示，自己不該瞞著陳水扁把錢匯出去，「我知道我不對，我很後悔，現在還牽涉到那麼多親戚，很不好意思，因為那些事都是我做的」，對於案件牽連那麼多人，耗費社會成本，「我要向社會大眾及庭上道歉」。
庭訊尾聲時，吳淑珍律師林志忠表示，因為新接本案，有些案情還沒完成閱卷，希望合議庭能再給律師2週時間，最後審判長蔡守訓裁定，原訂明天的庭期取消，吳淑珍的部分改至3月3日、5日14時30分再開庭。980210
