A video clip shared on social media network, shows whipping of the three adults by the Taliban group.


The three adults were being whipped in connection to eating during the Ramadan month in a remote area of Obah district in Herat province.


The shared clip shows Taliban members whipping three adults with wooden stick in front of a public gathering.


This comes as last week a woman was flogged by the Taliban in the same region for adultery.


It is worth mentioning that the Taliban in some areas have control over trials, and are judging people in various summary courts for various criminal activities.


Previously a woman was stoned to death for being involved in adultery.


Afghanistan’s general law does not allow summary courts and it is against the law to judge people without prosecution in summary courts.
