According to the witness, the man was not severely injured.

"I immediately called the police and a few minutes later, he jumped, though it looked like he slipped and fell.
"He was not severely injured but he looked like he wanted to get up and run when the police and SCDF (Singapore Civil Defence Force) arrived."
