Recounted the STOMPer:

"Yesterday at around 415pm, my friend and I were walking to Outram Park MRT Station from Chinatown when my friend alerted me to this sight.

"We were shocked to see this guy walking naked in front of us, covered only by this green and white striped cloth.

"He was quite a distance away from us so we moved forward, thinking our eyes may have deceived us.

"We got a clearer view and were just in time to see him attempt to steal some clothes from a roadside stall, but the owner ran to snatch the clothes back.

"Just then, the cloth he used to cover himself dropped and was left behind.

"He tried to use a banner to cover himself afterwards but abandoned it.

"He continued walking towards CK Department Store where we lost him momentarily before he appeared again near the bus stop, rummaging for newspapers before walking off across Keong Saik Road, covering himself with some newfound items."
