STOMPer Tommy says he was charged double at an HDB carpark in Clementi Avenue 2, and wonders how many others had fallen victim to the error.
He says:
"The parking fee at an HDB carpark in Clementi Avenue 2 was charged at $2 per hour when it should be $1 per hour.
"I only parked for 13 minutes and was charged at 47 cents.
"This worked out to be $2 per hour which was double of what it should be.
"I wonder how many people had been overcharged without realising it.
"And also how HDB is monitoring the outsource company which operates the carpark barrier to ensure that the company programs the deduction of our cash card at the prevailing rate.
"It is definitely not worth my time and effort to go to the company to claim back 24 cents."

If 2$ per hour, then 1$ per 30 minutes, then 50 cents for 15 minutes. Where did you get double charge???
