醫學會副會長林哲玄說,一般而言,醫委會在紀律聆訊中會考慮涉事醫生所犯罪行會否影響其臨床判斷,或是否涉及嚴重誠信問題,如果在當值期間犯案,情況更嚴重,有機會將其無限期釘牌。屯門醫院去年亦爆出男顧問醫生涉嫌摸胸非禮女實習醫生醜聞,涉案男醫生事後被控一項非禮罪,他否認控罪,案件昨在屯門法院作審前覆核,控辯雙方均表示會傳召專家證人作供,預計審訊需時兩天。裁判官將案定於今月尾開審,期間被告續准保釋。

【星島日報報道】(星島日報報道)屯門醫院急症科姓甄副顧問醫生,早前在當值期間「失蹤」,返回工作間後情緒有異,經測試後發現尿液疑含有大麻,懷疑在當值期間曾吸食大麻。據了解,甄早於前年與妻子出現感情問題,亦經常表示工作壓力大。醫院已即時暫停有關醫生的臨牀職務,並檢視該醫生當值期間的診症記錄,及過去三個月處理過的個案。院方昨日報警,該醫生被警方拘捕,正被扣留調查,由屯門警區重案組跟進。
警方表示,昨日下午接獲報案,指院方一名男醫護人員懷疑早前曾吸食毒品。警方經初步調查後,今日在田心區拘捕該名四十八歲姓甄男子,涉嫌「吸食毒品」。
屯門醫院表示對事件非常重視,有關醫生隸屬屯門醫院急症科,於本月五日晚上十一時許當值期間一度離開工作崗位,同事透過廣播及手提電話尋找不果。該名醫生於午夜時分返回工作間,同事發現其精神及情緒有異樣。
據悉,該名醫生承認曾經吸食大麻,院方為他進行驗尿後,結果呈陽性反應。

據了解,被捕醫生一九九五年在中大醫學院畢業,○四年考獲香港醫學專科學院院士(急症科)資格,育有兩名兒子,二○一七年與妻子出現感情問題,妻兒已搬離住所,他亦曾在互聯網寫道:「人到中年,腰背痛,工作失意,老婆離婚,朋友離棄。」該醫生亦曾透露在公立醫院工作壓力大,稱「為了幫助病患,前線的總要賠上自己及家人的幸福。」消息指,該名醫生平日在家中露台有栽種植物的習慣,但警方未有在其住所或醫院儲物櫃發現大麻或大麻工具,正繼續追查大麻來源,而被捕醫生沒有相關案底。
本身是醫生的立法會議員郭家麒指,若醫生干犯刑事罪行,事件必須上報醫委會,並審核醫生是否有操守及失德等問題,最嚴重可終身停牌。
執業大律師陸偉雄亦指,根據《危險藥物條例》,大麻屬被規管的危險藥物,任何人士管有、吸食、販運或種植大麻,均屬違法,最高可被判罰款一百萬元及監禁七年;若吸食大麻後影響醫生診斷,令病人健康受損,法庭更會加重刑罰。
