7 habits/Traits of an aspiring or highly successful PAP minister/MP

1.a Yes man

2. able to lie thru their teeth in public without twitching .. eg al jazeera incident

3. extreme appetide for humogous pay packet

4. able to sleep well at night under any political or social injustice eg. mas selamat's escape etc

5. must be deaf or complete indifference to the suffering/lamentations or critisms of the people they are suppose to serve

6.willing to defend his master's flawed policies even though they 'know' it is obviously and morally wrong to do so

7. must be unwilling to take public transport as they cheapens their high horse image
 
i try ok :

1) must be thick-skin
2) must be able to answer 1 question with another totally irrelevant question
3) must know how to act (show concern face when listening to residents, but actually heck care)
4) must have a great sense of humor (laugh at any lame jokes thrown by lhl in parliament session)
5) must have guard dog attitute ( ready to bite low thia kiang at any given chance)
6) must know lots of statistics, quotes, hokkien proverbs/songs by heart.


last but surely the most important trait
7) must worship lky (and $)
 
I also try:

1) Must be public spirited

2) Must be eloquent in speech

3) Must attend Meet-the-People's sessions faithfully

4) Must work the ground, sacrificing weekends for constituency visits

5) Must defend valiantly rational but sometimes unpopular govt policies against Opposition populist views

6) Must stand up to public scrutiny esp in the heat of a keenly battled election

And FINALLY,

7) Must like to wear white ( am I cheeky or what! :D )
