For the gantries at Adam Road and Mount Pleasant, the rates will increase $0.50 to $1.00 from 7.30am to 8am.
However motorists will see a relief at the gantry along Central Expressway, north of Braddell Road.

The rate will fall from $2.00 to $1.00 from 7.30am to 9am, and $2.50 to $2.00 from 8am to 8.30am.</P>These changes will apply from Aug 1 onwards. Rates for other gantries remain unchanged.
The revision comes after the completion of LTA's quarterly review of traffic conditions on ERP-priced roads and expressways.
The next ERP review will take place in November this year.

We want to pay more for our houses, COEs, Power Tarrifs, ERP, hawkers food....etc. We cannot wait for GST to increase next.

Did anyone actually bother finish reading the article? They are reducing the rates at some points and increasing it at others. They actually reducing more then they increase. It seems totally in line with the ERP system in the first place, to regulate traffic by making pple use alternative/cheaper routes
