lai lai...we know the "official" reason giving by government concerning the tree collapsing and injuring tourist too "stupid" - of course trees have roots underground duh...

1. the MRT running below Istana - the NE line, NS line, circle line lah...cause vibration to dislodge the tree

2. too much hot air coming from Istana make the tree "cannot stand it liao" and collapse

3. the tourist neber bath, too smelly and the tree choked.

Like everything else they blame their own CITIZENs for not taking care of that tree.

Don't every Singapore CITIZEN know that we are suppose to water and feed every tree in Singapore.

If the tree dies, you also die lah.

So if the tree die next to your house, be very careful because the blame will be on you for not looking after the tree.
