5 men arrested for loanshark harassment

Five men have been arrested for loanshark harassment over two days.

Aged between 15 and 22, they allegedly helped recruit runners and harass debtors by splashing paint and scrawling graffiti on the walls of their units.

In the first case, a 15-year-old and his 22-year-old accomplice were arrested on Tuesday at Toa Payoh.

In the second, a trio of teenagers aged 15, 17, and 19 were arrested after police responded to a call complaining of loanshark harassment.
