LONDON - FACEBOOK is in the news again - this time over racist remarks posted on two sites set up in Britain.
In one case, five men were arrested last week for comments condemning Muslims in Wales. In the second case, a student in east London is under investigation for posting anti-Semitic remarks on a site he created. More than 500 people had signed up to the site since it was launched last month. An official with the Community Security Trust (CST), which advises Britain's estimated 300,000 Jews on safety issues, described it as 'one of the most shocking things I have ever seen', The Jewish News, a website for the community in London, said. The site was created by a student at Loxford School of Science and Technology and had a link to a YouTube video entitled Kill All Christians And Jews. The local education authorities said that disciplinary action had been taken against the student and that his case was part of an ongoing police investigation.
