43 Min Wait for Lan Cheow AssBAss Bus!

I was late for class, thanks to the long wait for bus 52

STOMPer K was late for class at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, due to the poor frequency and long wait for SBS bus 52.


The STOMPer waited for more than half an hour for the bus to arrive, even though the SBS Transit website states that their lowest frequency would be a 19-minute wait for a bus.

In an email sent to STOMP yesterday (Oct 28), the STOMPer wrote:

“This is not a rare sight for SBS Bus 52. This bus, which operates from Bishan to Jurong East, has a horrible frequency.

“I was about 10min away from that bus stop at Thomson when I checked online at the iRIS (arrival info for SBS Buses) website. I was totally shocked to see that I will have to wait more than 30 minutes for the bus!

“Even the SBS Transit Website states that their lowest frequency would be 19 minutes, which in fact is already bad enough.

“I thought there was an error in the iRIS Website and so I waited for Bus 52. However, it turned out to be real.

“I really had to wait 36 minutes for the Bus to arrive. As such, I was late for my lesson at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

“Many students take this Bus to Ngee Ann and the frequency of the bus is always very poor.

“I really hope SBS Transit can do something about this. Even during peak hours, 7am - 9am, the frequency of the bus is around 15 minutes!”

Aiyah! why complain...Pinkie Biy will show you slides of then & now..slides of Tay Koh Yat, Green Bus, STC buses as compared with today's Ass B Ass buses.

He will tell you, see the 'mosquito buses' of Tay Koh Yat, that leaks waster when it rains, break down often, and sometimes it does not even turn up along Upper Thomson Rd., in front of Windsor Park Rd., which one you choose?. Now you have "IRIS" to tell you the schedule, Tay Koh Yat buses , you have to crane your necks to spot one & pray for divine intervention to get one.

Thank his father, that we have progress so far, with ultra modern buses, with IRIS tracking system, aircondition, built-in entertainment system...

What more, would that Poly student want...but he never told you, that he had never in his life taken a public bus at all.... ha ha ha

You want a Tay Koh Yat, Green Bus, Punggol Bus , STC or ASS B ASS bus...that still do not turn up in 30 mins or more?
