4 robbers caught in 2 hours

<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> FOUR men were arrested within two hours after assaulting and robbing a 23 year-old male victim along Tagore Road. On Sunday, the victim was accosted by four men while walking towards Tagore Industrial Estate. The four men assaulted him before taking his handphone and wallet containing S$160 in cash. The victim gave chase but eventually lost sight of them.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division rushed to the scene and immediately conducted ground enquiries as well as an extensive search for the suspects. The first arrest was made when one of the suspects was found hiding and panting profusely inside a drain.
The well-coordinated search operation saw the remaining three suspects, who were also hiding in the vicinity, rounded up by 2.05 am. The victim's items were recovered. All four suspects, aged between 20 and 27 years, will be charged in court on Monday.
