SINGAPORE - The police have arrested 36 women, aged between 20 and 32, in an operation at a public entertainment outlet at Selegie Road.
The 6-hour operation saw a total of 36 female foreigners on visit passes arrested for employment violations.
Investigations are ongoing.
Commander of Tanglin Police Division, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police (DAC) Lu Yeow Lim, said: "Police will not let up in its efforts to clamp down on criminal activities in entertainment outlets. Those who engage in illicit activities will be severely dealt with in accordance to the law."
