33 people arrested for vice-related activities, trespassing

SINGAPORE: 33 people have been arrested for vice-related activities and trespassing state land. Police arrested 26 men and seven women, aged between 18 and 49 years old on Tuesday night.
A raid was conducted on the forested area off Bukit Batok Road after police received a tip off.
Investigation against all suspects is ongoing.
If found guilty of trespassing, suspects could face a fine of up to S$1,000.
Also, under the Women's Charter, if found guilty of managing or assisting in the management of a place of assignation, suspects could face a a fine not exceeding S$3,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, or both.
