POLICE arrested two Frenchmen and a Spanish man, aged between 46 and 64, last Saturday, for cheating at the roulette tables in Resorts World Sentosa's casino.
On March 26, one of the men committed past-posting - placing a bet after the result is known - at the roulette table.
His act was detected by another player, and he left the table without collecting his bet or winnings.
Last Friday and Saturday, the men committed past-posting on two occasions at the roulette tables, and were paid $13,400 in winnings by the dealers.
They were detected by casino surveillance, and detained last Saturday at 1.30pm by casino security officers, who turned them over to the police.
The men, here on social-visit passes, will be charged in court today with cheating. If convicted, each faces a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine.
