SINGAPORE : Three people were arrested between June and September this year for trying to enter the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino using another person's identification.
Police said all three were trying to avoid paying the entry levy.
Two of them are women, aged 54 and 31, and Singapore permanent residents (PRs).
The third is a 38-year-old Singaporean man.
The suspects will be charged in court on Tuesday with Cheating by Personation.
If convicted, they can be jailed up to five years, fined or both.
The 31-year-old woman is also believed to have tried to gain entry using a stolen passport and identity card.
Police said this suspect is likely to face an additional charge of Theft in Dwelling.
If convicted, she can be jailed up to seven years.
Police also commended security officers at RWS for detaining those trying to gain illegal entry and handing them over to police.
Singaporeans and PRs have also been reminded that they are required under the Casino Control Act to pay the entry levy before entering the casinos.
