3 loanshark runners caught

POLICE on Monday arrested three men and a woman aged between 30 and 49 years for suspected involvement in loansharking activities in three separate cases. A mobile phone, laptop and several ATM cards were seized from them. In all the cases, the suspects are believed to be helping loansharks to conduct illegal money lending activities through ATMs or bank transfers. A man and a women, both 30 years, will be charged in court on Tuesday for assisting in the business of an unlicensed moneylender.
