$2mil renumeration that Koh doesn't need

For jan 1 to apr 30, Koh Boon Hwee assumed a management oversight role in DBS, and for that 4 months, DBS is giving him $2mil worth of cash and stocks,,,, that would equivalent to $500,000/month,,,,, and he says he is giving to charity because he does not need it,,,,, and DBS retrenched how many staff before x'mas last year?
