28 injured in collision between trailer and private bus at Tuas

SINGAPORE: A collision between a trailer and a private bus left 28 people injured and two with head injuries.

The accident happened at about 8.20 on Friday morning at the junction of Tuas South Ave 3 and Tuas South Ave 5.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) despatched five ambulances, two mini vans and a fire engine to the scene.

No one was trapped when SCDF officers arrived.

13 casualties were sent to the National University Hospital and the rest to Alexandra Hospital. - CNA/vm
