4 youths held over robbery

POLICE have arrested four youths for suspected involvement in a case of robbery with hurt.
The four, aged between 15 and 19 years, assaulted and robbed a 25-year-old woman of her handbag containing valuables amounting to $100 in Sengkang last Saturday.
The suspects were arrested on Tuesday and will be charged in court on Wednesday for robbery with hurt, which carries a maximum of 20 years imprisonment and at least 12 strokes of the cane.
