24 foreign GROs held in raid
GEORGE TOWN: Police have rounded up 24 foreign women, believed to be working illegally as guest relations officers, and a male caretaker at an entertainment outlet in Gurney Drive here.
The 23 Chinese nationals and a Vietnamese were picked up by two teams from the state and George Town anti-vice, gambling and secret societies at about 11pm on Thursday following a tip-off.
