I am also quite fed up with the Straits Times biased coverage. I brought up in an earlier post that I'm disappointed with the opposition for not bringing up the controlled media as an issue. Media is very important in the context of an election as well as in terms of setting the agenda for public discussion.
ST said there were 15,000 supporters at the WP's rally. There were more like 50,000 (at least).
I hope that some of the opposition candidates will be able to raise this issue at their rallies instead of harping on about foreign talents only. FT is an important issue but so are others, e.g. one-sided media.
They need to clarify what is the role of Tony Tan (ex-DPM) in SPH?
