20-year-old arrested for molest

SINGAPORE - A 20-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly molested a woman at a sheltered walkway along New Upper Changi Road.
The incident was reported by the victim on Nov 5.
The suspect, who was arrested in the vicinity of Bedok South Ave 1 , is also suspected to be involved in another case of insulting the modesty of a woman along the same stretch of road.
He will be charged in Court on Thursday for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
If convicted, he may be jailed up to two years, or fined and also be liable to caning.
