20 fishermen killed in Boko Haram JIHAD attack in eastern Nigeria

ocal sources and security officials in Nigeria reported last night that “at least 20 fishermen were killed in Borno State” in the northeast of the country after Boko Haram militants attacked their village.

Reuters reported that Nigeria has been facing a 16-year-old insurgency in the northeast of the country, led by Boko Haram and the Islamic State in West Africa…

The agency quoted Modu Ari, a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force, as saying: “The rebels stormed the fishing community in Gadan Gari on Wednesday and opened fire on fishermen working in the area, killing at least 20.”
