2 youths caught on suspicion of assaulting & robbing man

SINGAPORE: Police arrested two 17-year-old youths for suspected of robbery with hurt.
At about 7.30am on Monday, a 38-year-old man reported that he was assaulted and robbed at Hillside Drive, near Upper Serangoon Road.
He alleged that the duo took his wallet containing cash and a mobile phone, with a total value of about S$400.
Police said the victim had injuries on his face and abdomen and was sent to hospital.
Officers tracked down the suspects and conducted a stakeout in the vicinity of Pipit Road.
At about 12.20pm on the same day, the officers spotted the suspects leaving in a car and detained them.
The victim's phone was found in the car.
The suspects will be charged in court on Wednesday with robbery with hurt.
