Hi All,
F1 is dead. For 20 years I have followed the races and now the FIA has decided to slap Renault on the wrist with a ridiculous suspended 2 year ban for the outfit.
Not only does it smack of desperation to keep alleged top teams on the grid it also stinks of money politics. Right and wrong is merely perception and relative.
Fernando Alonso, the recipient of the winner's trophy gets away unscathed and totally exonerated despite the last time I checked this was a team sport.
Flavio Briatore is now banned for life from all motorsports activities, Briatore was going to retire anyway at the end of this season and he took an early departure while not admitting to any wrong doing.
While the actual mastermind, Pat Symonds, is given a 5 year ban.
The son of a Nazi, Max Mosley, did not mention the confiscation of prize money for the win nor did he mention if the win would be considered nullified and the monies be redistributed.
If it was Ferrari or worse still McLaren, there would be massive financial sanctions and points deductions; go figure.
The end of F1 is almost here and what is good about it is that stupid Sinkapoor has decided to have the races staged here, while worldwide viewership is on the down trend goes to show that anything this country touches turns to shyte!
Cheers,
MM
