State anti-narcotics chief Assistant Commissioner Roslan Abd Wahid said a total of RM73,000 worth of drugs were seized. Police also confiscated cars and other valuables from the suspects, amounting to RM270,500.
The raids were conducted in Chui Chak, Teluk Intan, Tanjung Piandang, Kerian, Grik and Taiping. He said three men who were arrested in Chui Chak had previous convictions for fights and extortion.
"The three, known as Gang Waki, were picked up in a house at Batu 13, Jalan Bidor, at 2.45pm on March 31. One of them owned a 8ha oil palm plantation and a bungalow undergoing renovation."
Roslan said in another raid on the same day in Grik, two unemployed men, attempted to evade capture by ramming their Honda Stream into two police Proton Wajas.

He said 0.45kg of heroin worth RM10,000 were found in a box under the arm rest of the vehicle.
"In follow-up operations, we seized a Honda CRZ and four motorcycles from the two suspects. We are checking if a bungalow owned by one of them was purchased with drug-related gains."
