March, 30th was the Kiev Metro’s open day. We are going to show you its largest station that features the largest number of floors. It’s called Dorogozhychi and it’s just turned 12 years old.

The station is situated near a TV center and Babi Yar, a memorial complex built at the site of a series of massacres carried out by the Nazis during their campaign against the Soviet Union.

The station contains a rich combination of decorative materials. Green marble is used for the sides of the passageways, and the lower part of the pylons.
