The 22-hour island-wide blitz ended at 2am on Thursday morning.
Initial investigations show that six suspects were involved in criminal breach of trust.
They converted sales proceeds and salaries of workers which they were entrusted with for their personal use.
Another six are suspected to be involved in various forms of cheating by dishonestly, inducing victims to part with their money or make unauthorised purchases.
The rest were involved in forgery of signatures or documents to cheat for personal gratification.
Under the law, anyone convicted of cheating or forgery could be fined and jailed up to 10 years.
Those guilty of criminal breach of trust could be jailed up to 15 years, and fined.
Commander of Ang Mo Kio Police Division, Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC), Hsu Sin Yun, said: "The Police take a serious view of individuals who employ ruses to cheat and would ensure that they face the full brunt of the law."
