The daily reported that Port Dickson police nabbed 18 “couples” who were having a wild weekend at a hotel in the resort town up to the early hours of Sunday. They were all high on drugs District police chief Supt Baljeet Singh said the loud music from their room disturbed the other hotel guests, who called the police to stop the partying.
He said the revellers, all from Negri Sembilan and aged 18 to 35, were high on drugs and were dancing wildly to loud music when police raided the place at 3.15am. Urine tests on the 18 pairs showed nine women and eight men tested positive.
“However, we did not find any drugs during the raid.” he said, adding that among those nabbed were students from higher institutes of learning. They were remanded for two days on offences that included drug taking.
