<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->Technician Jose Tan tells Debbie Yong how his hotel-themed room gives him a feeling of always being on vacation.
Jose Tan, 35
Process technician
Lives in an 84 sq m three-room HDB flat in Bukit Batok
Lives with his retired parents - father Tan Mee Kea and mother Lin Siang Cheng.
I love my home because...
It is just a three-minute walk to the Bukit Gombak MRT station and there are many nature parks in the area, such as the Little Guilin, a popular tourist attraction. Hawker centres and supermarkets are right around the corner too.
My decor theme is...
A hotel concept. I enjoy travelling and I love the feeling of staying in hotels so I decided to redecorate my room to resemble a hotel room. It gives me the feeling of always being on vacation.
My favourite corner is...
My bedroom. It is where I relax at the end of the day.
I'm most proud of...
My bedroom. I painted the room and decorated it all by myself.
Will I sell it?
Not at the moment.
