Can't find most of the letter writers' background (becuase of their generic names!). But the 4th letter is written by on Gerald Chiu:

Gerald Chiu was raised in Singapore and received his education in Singapore and England. It's amazing how all the letter writer miss the point. It is not about spending money per se. Actually, what I found most offensive when he wrote
