The police have arrested a 14-year-old for suspected involvement in loansharking activities.
Officers on patrol spotted the male youth distributing flyers in the vicinity of Hougang Ave 5 at about 3.05pm on Thursday. A stack of flyers offering financial services was found on him.
The police said in a statement that the finance company stated in the flyers was not a registered moneylending company.
He was then arrested for assisting the unlicensed moneylender in his business and the stack of flyers was seized as case exhibits.
