12 charged in two separate rioting cases

Two groups of men were charged in court on Thursday with separate cases of rioting.
The first group comprising five men is said to have committed rioting at Pasir Ris Bus Interchange last month while the other group's alleged offence took place at Raffles Avenue on Tuesday.
Muhammad Iqbal Azman, 23, his brother, Muhammad Haikal, 18, Sheikh Muhammad Zakaruddin Zulhilmi Yu Sheikh Md Ali , 16, Muhammad Nur Hidayat Mohd Zakaria, 19, and Muhammad Zulfadli Kamarudin, 22, are alleged to have been with four others when one or more used violence on Leow Fa Dong, 19, Kek Wei Jie, 18, and Yap Wei Jian, 17, at the Pasir Ris Bus Interchange on Sept 16.
They are out on bail and will be back in court on Nov 1.
