11-year-old among six arrested for housebreaking

SINGAPORE - The police have arrested six males between the ages of 11 and 21 who are believed to have broken into homes along Woodlands Street 81.
Two cases of housebreaking and theft were reported on Aug 27. Items such as laptop computers, wallets and a mobile phone were stolen.
After extensive enquires and investigation, officers from Jurong Police Division identified the six suspects and arrested them on Aug 28 and 29, within Woodlands Housing Estate.
Five of the suspects aged between 14 and 21 years old will be charged in court on Aug 30 for Housebreaking and Theft by Night.
If convicted, they face between two and 14 years in jail.
Investigations involving the 11-year-old are ongoing.
