11 arrested for drug offences
SINGAPORE: Eleven people were arrested in a 12-hour joint enforcement operation that started on Tuesday at 10am.
The operation involved officers from the Singapore Police Force and the Central Narcotics Bureau.
During the 12-hour blitz, checks were conducted at public housing estates in Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Serangoon and Sengkang.
A total of 11 persons were arrested for drug-related offences.
Some drugs seized included one tablet of Erimin 5, three packets and 10 straws of heroin weighing approximately 10.3g. - CNA/nd
