101-year-old man seeking life partner
HE is over 100, is almost blind and is hard of hearing – but hasn’t stopped Ahmad Md Isa from hankering for a new life partner.
Kosmo! reported that the centenarian who was born in 1909 had expressed his wish to take a new bride to “cure his loneliness”.
Although he is well-looked after by his 64-year-old daughter Fatimah, Ahmad whose memory is still sharp said he wanted a partner who could discuss things with him.
“I am lonely. And I am afraid to sleep alone.
“If I have a wife, at least I will have someone to talk with and to share our life experiences,” he said when met at his home in Alor Setar, Kedah.
Ahmad said he welcomed anyone who was interested to be his wife and planned to present her with a car once they were married.
Ahmad has been married five times, has five children, 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
“I am not fussy with my food and I do not practice any specific diet.
“However, I will always include raw vegetables like petai, jering and the pegaga leaves in all my meals,” he said.
