100 nabbed during overnight police operation

The police arrested 100 suspects, in connection with loansharking and other criminal activities after an overnight sting operation, which ended on Thursday morning.
This, after 86 people were nabbed for similar offences during an operation last week.
The latest operation was led by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) but it also involved men and women from all six police land divisions in Singapore.
The arrests were made in various parts of Singapore including Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Boon Lay, Jurong West, Tampines, and Woodlands. Among the 100 suspects arrested during the operation - which started on Wednesday - were 18 women.
