$10,000 stolen in break-in

A SHOPHOUSE in Pasir Panjang Road lost more than $10,000 worth of cash and merchandise in a break-in on the weekend.

The owner, a Chinese man in his 30s, reported that his office was ransacked and his cash register missing when he opened the shop on Jan 19. The rear office door was also forced open.

Some padlocks worth $1,000 were stolen, as well as nearly $200 worth of construction boots.
