ONE people died and one was injured in a pileup accident at Shanghai-Kunshan Expressway on 6:45am yesterday, according to the news portal Xinmin.cn.
The report said a sedan lost control and rolled over near an exit of the highway in Jinshan District and resulted in a pileup of several following cars.
An injured woman managed to flee the damaged sedan, but later was hit by a car running from behind, witnesses said.
The woman later died in hospital, according to the report.
One people was also injured in the accident and is receiving treatment at nearby hospital. The accident didn't cause traffic congestion, police said.
